How Does an Instagram NFC Card Work? Follow Card Usage Guide
The Instagram NFC card opens your profile link — stored on an NTAG213 chip — through the phone's NFC notification. There's no QR code; the follow itself is still completed by the customer, in Instagram.

An Instagram follow NFC card is an 80 × 80 mm PVC card used to open your profile link. Your business's Instagram profile URL sits on the NTAG213 chip beneath the epoxy coating. When a phone gets close to the card, an NFC notification appears; tapping it opens the profile. The card doesn't follow the account automatically and doesn't guarantee any follower outcome — the decision to follow is always the customer's.
Why an Instagram follow card?
Instead of typing a username by hand, the correct profile address opens directly. This card is NFC-only and carries no QR code. It shares the same 80 × 80 mm size as the Google review card — one opens the Google review form, the other opens your Instagram profile.

How should staff introduce it?
A short, neutral sentence is enough: “If you'd like to follow us on Instagram, you can tap your phone to this card.” There's no obligation to follow, no discount tied to it, and no reward promised. The card only opens the profile — the decision to follow stays with the customer.
Which businesses use it?
- Cafés and bakeries — building a follower base for new products and promotions.
- Hair and beauty salons — before/after shots and appointment reminders.
- Boutiques and stores — storefront photos and stock announcements.
- Clinics and aesthetic centers — informational content and building trust.
Bundled with the Google card
The Google and Instagram cards are two separate products: the review form is programmed onto the Google card, and your profile address onto the Instagram card. They can sit at the same counter, but one card's link never carries over to the other channel automatically. Current product and bundle terms are shown on the respective product pages.

Frequently asked questions
Your business's Instagram profile page. There's no need to search a username or scan a QR code — the https profile URL written to the NTAG213 chip opens with a single tap.
No. The ready-made Instagram-template card has a single NTAG213 NFC chip and no QR code.
Both work. A café till, a salon counter, a boutique's window display, and a reception desk are all good spots — the card just needs to stay put and stay visible.
